“Humans doing hard things in big wild places,” said our guide. Aspire makes it easy to do hard things with great support and an amazing vibe. No judgement, lots of stoke. A truly professionally run trip that just felt like friends hanging out. So good!!!"

The challenge and elation of a glaciated Cascade volcano await!
Here's how Aspire unlocks this remote mountain:

Accommodations: Our front country camp will be staged out of the Bedal Campground. Aspire will provide a group shelter, heaters, a phone/watch/camera charging station, a portable hot shower, and lively camp amenities for a remote but comfortable “glamp” style experience.

Our backcountry camp will be a minimalist affair. Perched high on Glacier Peak, we'll be hanging out in bivy sacs or in ultralight shelters with just the essential overnight gear.

Meals: The Aspire team will provide nourishing meal in camp bookending the trip, as well as backpacking meals for our backcountry camp.

Shuttles: Runners will meet at the Bellingham Sunset Square Safeway in Bellingham WA. We'll operate a shuttle to/from Mt. Baker.

Guide Team: The Aspire team is comprised of welcoming expert guides that provide instruction on safe and efficient alpine travel, a safety net, energizing camaraderie, area information, logistical support, and meals.

Prerequisites: Experience wearing crampons and traveling on a rope team crossing snow and ice is a prerequisite for this trip.

Skills Courses: The Glacier Peak Fastpack is a skills course covering fastpacking, navigation and glacier travel. Participants will receive instruction on what to pack for an overnight running adventure, risk management for ultra-light alpine travel, and glacier travel skills all wrapped up in a 2 day summit climb of Glacier Peak. This objective is NOT to be underestimated. A solid foundation in ultra-endurance running and some mountaineering experience is highly recommended.
